Each spring, industry leaders, MIT faculty, research fellows, and alumni come together at the MIT World Real Estate Forum to share their latest findings and expertise to further the center’s mission to drive innovation across the global real estate market. This year’s theme is RE:thinking the Future of Real Estate and speakers from over 25 countries will exchange ideas on real estate across the globe.

WiredScore CEO and Founder Arie Barendrecht will be participating in The Edge Sessions panel on IoT and IoP: Digital Infrastructure and the Internet of People, Places, & Things at this year's forum. Barendrect joins MIT Center for Real Estate Founder Steve Weikal, American Tower VP of Real Estate Alex Gamota, and WS Development’s Development Project Manager Ali Butler on the panel. These experts will discuss how to future-proof new constructions, the changing nature of communications infrastructure, how to make the business case for installing these tech improvements, and more.

The MIT Center for Real Estate has been advancing the science of real estate for over 30 years and this year's event will continue to push the envelop in Real Estate evolution. The center’s pioneering research investigates the real estate transaction from initial concept to market reality, providing thought leadership that informs organizations around the globe on how to capitalize on today’s dynamic markets and new technology.
