The state-of-the-art 17,000 square foot facility in the Wired Certified Platinum building includes six technology-friendly meeting rooms of various sizes and an outdoor terrace, perfect for hosting board meetings, town halls, team off-sites, trainings, and corporate receptions for up to 200 people.
The meeting rooms and event space at Convene’s first Boston facility will be available for rental from building tenants, as well as other local companies and organizations looking for a place to host their next corporate meeting or event.
Key offerings include dedicated meeting planning and production teams, an on-site Executive Chef who prepares premium, fresh cuisine, cutting-edge technology in all meeting rooms with on-site AV/IT support, and access to on-site Nourish stations, fully-stocked with unlimited snacks and refreshments.
Convene is partnering with the co-owners of One Boston Place, TH Real Estate – the real estate investment management arm of TIAA – and Ivanhoe Cambridge to develop and operate the meeting and event venue.
“As a landlord, we aim to provide space and amenities which allow businesses to collaborate, be highly efficient and thrive. We are excited to work with Convene to build a modern and flexible space to better serve our tenants and the broader Boston business community,” said William Abramowitz, Director, TH Real Estate.
Convene at One Boston Place will also include a tenant-only amenity space, available exclusively to employees that work in the building.
“The most progressive companies today are looking for next-generation workplaces – ones that not only provide improved lease flexibility but also seamlessly integrate physical space, hospitality services, and on-demand technology into the overall experience for their employees,” said Mr. Simonetti. “Landlords like TH Real Estate can now partner with Convene to enhance the way that office buildings deliver the workday experience for tenants and their most coveted asset – their people.”
Convene already operates full-service meeting venues and office amenity space in New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The company recently secured $68M in Series C funding to expand their business nationally and grow their workplace-as-a-service platform.
